Q:  Is ordering online secure?
A: Good Counsel wants to provide a safe and secure shopping experience for our customers.With this goal we have implemented security measures that protect the information we collect on our web site. We limit the number of employees that have access to our databases that contain personal information. In addition, it is our policy to never send your credit card number via e-mail, and we do not store credit card information with your registered profile. Our web site accepts orders only from web browsers that permit communication through Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. (4.0 versions or higher of Netscape Navigator and versions 4.0 or higher of Internet Explorer.) This means that you will be unable to place an order through an unsecured connection. Browsers that do not meet requirements will be prevented from navigating our online store section of the Good Counsel web site.
 
Q:  What forms of payment can I use?
A: Good Counsel accepts the following methods of payment: Good Counsel E-Certificate, American Express, Discover, MasterCard, Visa and debit cards affiliated with these companies. We do not accept checks, cash or money orders as online forms of payment.
 
Q:  Why can't I find the item I am looking for?
A: If the product you are searching for is not currently listed online, it may not be available at the time of your order. We do not keep inventory to re-supply or previously featured, sold-out stock. When shopping, the sizes and colors currently available for each item will be listed in the drop-down menus for you to select and add to your shipping bag. Send us an E-mail to find out if the item you are looking for is on back order or sold out.
 
Q:  How do I purchase a Good Counsel E-Certificate?
A: The easiest and fastest way to purchase an E-Certificate is online. You may also purchase an E-Certificate by calling our customer service number 301-942-1155. Good Counsel E-Certificates are available in denominations of $25, $50, $75, and $100. Recipients of our E-Certicate will receive an email notifying them of the gift, the email will also give them the information they will need to redeem their e-certificate.
 
Q:  How do I redeem my Good Counsel E-Certificate
A: You may use your Good Counsel E-Certificate toward any purchase at www.gchs.com. At check-out, enter the certificate number that appears on the front of the certificate. You may only redeem one Good Counsel E-Certificate per purchase online. We can accept multiple forms of payment if your purchase exceeds the balance of the Good Counsel E-Certificate. You can pay for the remainder of the pruchase by using a credit card.
 
Q:  How do I redeem a coupon?
A: All coupons valid on gchs.com, whether they are mailed to your home or are e-mailed to you, have promotion codes. You must enter this code when you are checking out to receive your discount. Only one coupon or disc ount of any type may be used at a time. Some coupons are exclusive to purchases at Good Counsel. Please check your coupon for details. Good Counsel coupons are not redeemable for cash, nor are they valid toward any previously purchased merchandise or the purchase of Good Counsel E-Certificates, clearance or spical priced merchandise.
 
Q:  Do I pay sales tax?
A: A sales tax of 5.0% is added to all orders shipped to Maryland addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipment to recipients outside of Maryland. Good Counsel will follow the guidelines of all state tax laws that apply to your order. Taxes and shipping are not confirmed until the order is packaged and readly to ship, which means that the total on your invoice may vary slightly form the total on the email order confirmation notice.
 
Q:  What happens if an item is on back order?
A: If an item is listed as back-ordered, the item is currently not available for shipping but will ship as soon as it becomes available. You will not be charged for the item until it ships. If the item ships separately from the original order, you will not be charged for shipping a second time. Yu have the option to cancel a back-ordered item at any time before it is shipped. Please email us anytime, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with your request and we will email you a confirmation and status of your request.
 
Q:  How can I track my order?
A: After ordering, you will receive two email confirmations from Good Counsel, First, wel will email receipt of your order within a few minutes after you send your order. Then, you will be notified in a second email, when you order is shipped. Our customers can track their orders by providing their order numbers and email addresses. If you are a registered user, simply sign into your account, you can view your order history by date or order number, This allows you to browse your order history and track the status of all your orders. If you are not a Gchscampusstore.com registered user, you can use your order number to check the status of your shipment.
 
Q:  What do I do if I have a problem with my order?
A: We do our best to ship make your shopping experience the best it can be, but sometimes problems happen. We apologize for any problems that may occur with your order. To expedite resolution to your problem, please email us as soon as possible. You may also call us, 301-942-1155 during business hours to speak to a representative. We will do our best to help you as quickly as possible.
 
Q:  What should I do if I need to return or exchange Good Counsel products?
A: Good Counsel purchases can be returned to our fulfillment location at the following address: Good Counsel 11601 Georgia Avenue Wheaton, MD 20902 You will be credited for the cost of the item(s) and applicable taxes; shipping & handling costs will not be refunded. If you need to return or exchange a Good Counsel purchase via mail: 1. Find the packing slip that was included with your order. 2. In the area marked "merchandise return form." write the item(s) that your are returning. Please indicate the reason (s) for your return. 3. If the address for the return or exchange is different from the one listed on the form, fill out the box labeled "different ship-to address." 4. For returns, the original credit card will be credited or you will receive a Good Counsel E-Certificate, depending on how the itmes were originally purchased. 5. For exchanges, fill out the reverse side of form. 6. Pack your return securely in the original package if possible. Be sure to include the return form. If you do not have your original packing slip, please incllude the following information with your return: bill-to name, address and phone number; ship-to name, address and phone number; order number; reason for return; and requested exhcange item(s)if applicable. Please mail all returne and exchanges to: Good Counsel. 11601 Georgia Avenue Wheaton, MD 20902 We recommend that all returns and exchanges be sent via a traceable carrier such as USPS, UPS or FedEx. Good Counsel is not responsible for packages not received if sent via a non-traceable carrier. Returns and exchanges must be returned prepaid; we cannon accept C.O.D. deliveries. Return Status Upon receipt, it will take about one week to process your return. Once processed, a credit is issued to the credit card used for the original purchase. If may take 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your credit card statement. For returns on items that were originally purchased with a Good Counsel E-Certificate, pleas allow tow weeks from date of receipt in our warehouse to receive your new Good Counsel E-Certificate.
